El Taller is a wonderful open space for children to explore, create, play with language, sounds and colors-and above all, express themselves!
Fusing art, music, and drama, our native Spanish speakers will guide your child in a full cultural immersion that blends our successful Spanish of the Americas™ methodology with dynamic fun!
El Taller's expert team of teachers are also professional artists and musicians who fuse El Taller's 30-year-strong language method with unique games and activities that will excite and enrich your child. Whether you are looking for that perfect after-school language immersion experience, or an art workshop taught with a twist of humor by a renowned NYC artist-plus much more-¡estás en tu casa!
In addition to the classes we offer at El Taller, we also design and execute programs for schools, museums and other organizations serving children.
Our teachers are currently leading afterschool programs in several public schools in New York City. Check out the video below to see our public school students singing at Lincoln Center.
Come explore the varied menu of classes and workshops we've prepared for you. Check out our calendar. And don't hesitate to just drop by to check out the space or chat with our staff over a cafecito!

My daughter is enjoying herself tons, and hearing her speak Spanish is giving me goosebumps!
Erica Brody, mom of a Summer Camp Student
When our daughter needed to learn first year high school Spanish in order to catch up with her classmates, El Taller was there for her and allowed her to accellerate her learning over the course of two summer months. What a wonderful educational institution for our neighborhood!
