patrick brennan transparency kestra is a musical experiment in its third year, motivated by questions about music, listening, imagination and social interaction. Transparencies are an organizational strategy that overlays rhythmelodic patterns that can be recombined in a decentralized way though improvisation and conduction. transparency kestra is a rotating community of musicians, a polyrhythmic drum ensemble (with or without drums) & an engine of multidirectional musical exploration.
