The Poets behind 'Dancin Words'

In addition to a lifelong love affair with words, writer-producer-arts consultant Judith Pine Bobé has worked in theatre, dance, music, radio and television and in an assortment of other related areas including civil rights.

Her poetry has appeared in such publications as Lips, The Ever Dancing Muse and the on-line literary journal, MEWSings. She has been a featured poet at many metro-area venues, including the Lower East Side Arts Festival, the Yakity Yak Poetry and Performance Series and the New Years Day Poetry Marathon at CBGBs. She has been a consultant for the New York State Council on the Arts and a grants panelist for the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

m boncher¹s poetry is based on her work as a psychologist and political activist. It tells the stories of the children, families, and communities with whom she works and the social, political, and economic infrastructures that intersect and are the underpinnings of our lives.

She shares her poetry at traditional poetry readings and through installation/performance pieces, art catalogues, and book publications in collaboration with the visual artist, Diogenes Ballester.
