Quique Sinesi: Virtuoso Guitarist from Argentina

El Taller is thrilled to welcome back Latin Grammy award-winning virtuoso guitarist and composer Quique Sinesi. 

Born in Argentina, Sinesi's distinctive music is a mix of elements that includes Argentinean Folklore, Tango, Jazz, Classical and contemporary sounds. 

Sinesi recorded the Concerto for guitar, Bandoneon and orchestra by Astor Piazzolla with the Deutschland Radio Berlin Symphony Orchestra in Germany. Among his other more than 40 recordings are the recently released Cuchichiando and Cuentos de un Pueblo Escondido. He has toured extensively and his compositions have been edited in France (Lemoine), Japan (Gendai), Belgium (Ediciones Latinoamericanas) and Argentina (Riccordi). 

In addition to his solo career, Sinesi founded the trio "Alfombra Magica" with Matias Gonzalez and Horacio Lopez, and has had the honor to play with Dino Saluzzi, Pablo Ziegler (with whom he won a Latin Grammy in 2005), Marcelo Miguilevsky; Carlos Aguirre, Juan Falú, Charlie Mariano and Markus Stockhausen among many others.
