Pedro Cortes, who grew up both here and in Spain, is the outstanding guitarist in this style in the country. Saray Munoz is one of the most admired younger flamenco singers in Spain, where she works with some of the best known dancers (Joaquin Corex, Antonio Canales, Sara Baras). 

Both come from a line of Gypsy Flamenco Families. Saray's family are all singers: her mother and aunt were the famous "las Grecas", an astonishing and, in southern Spain, extremely popular Gypsy rock and disco band from the 70's. 

Pedro Cortes is a third generation Flamenco Guitarist who grew up under the wing of the great Sabicas, who along with Ramon Montoya, Paco de Lucia and Niño Ricardo is acknowledged as the foundation of the current guitar tradition.
