Noche de Tango con Roberto Corral

Jorge Luis Borges found in the lyrics of tango "the true poetry of our time." With a repertoire spanning Carlos Gardel and Alfredo Le Pera's classic hit "Volver," to his original compositions, Roberto Corral establishes himself in the rich tradition of the tango lyricists. Corral transports audiences to a café porteño in the pulsing heart of Buenos Aires, where tango remains part of the life and landscape of the city. At El Taller he will perform the work of lyricist-poets such as Cátulo Castillo, Enrique Cadícamo, Homero Expósito, Enrique Santos Discépolo, and Homero Manzi.

Singer, actor, composer, and writer Robert Corral is a multifaceted artist. As a tango singer, Corral has captivated audiences with la emoción del tango in venues such as Centro Cultural de la Cooperación and the legendary Café Tortoni in Buenos Aires.
