Opening Reception:

The Grady Alexis Gallery at El Taller Latino Americano is pleased to present “Uninterrupted”, a retrospective of artworks created by, native-New York artist, art-educator, poet and story-teller, Aleathia Brown.

This retrospective marks the five-decade career of the artist Aleathia Brown. Works in the exhibition include paintings, mix-media, performance-art, poetry and storytelling based on her encompassing approach to art-history and African-American history, addressing social justice and culture issues, interpreted through her personal vision.
