Ricardo Cuevas

Born and raised through high school in Chile, Ricardo Cuevas came to the U.S. on March of 1988. Music was probably the earliest artistic incentive he was exposed to. Both his parents sang in the choir of the University of Chile, where his mother also taught Voice Technique to choir members. His father was a folkloric researcher and performer. Ricardo's artistic birth was a need for self-expression in the new world he came to inhabit, and of which he new nothing, least of all the language. A self-taught guitar player and composer, Ricardo draws his inspiration from the conflicts and balance of daily live.

The exact date of this concert is not known, but it occurred in the marked year around this time.
