El Taller Latino Americano is proud to host Marinez Petingi. Marinez began in the Uruguayan Nuevo Canto Movement as a singer, guitarist and composer. Since then, she has received international acclaim in both Mexico and the united States. After a hiatus from music, Marinez returns to the stage, offering her first performance at El Taller. Her music is a testimony of the voice of the people of Latin America, utilizing both folkloric and popular styles.
