El Taller presents Perry Robinson and Gerry Drums in a Clarinet and Djembe Duo Concert through the Formers and Perfomers Series. 

For over four decades, Perry Robinson has been the sui generis master of the clarinet in jazz, folk and avant-garde music. For the concert the duo will explore jazz and world rhtyhms first explored in the 2009 album "Three Neighbors". This special collaboration is not to be missed. 

Perry Robinson is an American Jazz clarinetist and composer. He has been a top contender in the annual Down Beat International Critics Poll. Perry has performed with Charlie Haden, Paul Motian and Dave Brubeck, among others. 

Gerry Drums hails from Trinidad and Tobago and leads the ensemble, Village Drums of Freedom.
