The Creative Music Studio Improvisers Orchestra of 20+ professional string, horn, and percussion soloists performs with longtime Taller collaborator David Soldier and Jonathan Kane. 

Improvisational ideas developed in the 7:00 PM rehearsal open to ticket holders transform into a fully formed performance at 8:30 PM.  Using his "Music Mind" concept, Karl Berger introduces a new approach and experience of harmonizing improvised sound. Conducted in Karl's distinctive style developed at the celebrated Creative Music Studio, this orchestra of extraordinary improvisers explores original themes, melodies from the world's folk traditions, and compositions written by legendary artists such as Don Cherry and Ornette Coleman.

Soldier Kane perform Uprooted Americana. With Soldier on violin and Kane on drums and guitar, they dismantle the Blues, the Great American Songbook and R&B dance hits.
