Anne Humanfeld
The Grady Alexis Gallery presents Bronx-based visual artist, Anne Humanfeld in a virtual exhibition featuring examples of the variety of media and formats, as well as an essay by j. maya luz.
Humanfeld has been making art all her life, and in her telling, very seriously since the 1970’s. Her technique uses religious, historical, and anatomical imagery that suggests that the way we read signs bring us to connections, leads us to conclusions, makes us remember, makes us think, makes us feel.
