Mariachi Angeles de New York is a group of young musicians from the ages of 11-20 who have participated in events such as Summer Stage and a wide array of cultural events. This group was officially formed during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic by students who wanted to keep taking classes virtually. The group emphasizes education above all else; so their musical classes and performances are scheduled around that to help them to foster a healthy balance between their study of music and their academics goals.
