El Taller’s history includes performances, collaborations and celebrations in honor of the immigrant nature of this country. Themes of migration, dislocation, preservation, assimilation and suffering are represented in this short film featuring rare footage of prominent musical figures. El Taller has been and continues to be a meeting place for artists interested in making humanitarian statements through their work aligned with our belief that acts of creativity dispel fear and mistrust.
