The Adam Kromelow Trio is made up of some of the most creative and forward-thinking young jazz musicians in New York City. Unafraid to push boundaries, this jazz band displays an atypical level of versatility by creating a sound that reflects the culmination of their favorite music and art, as well as their own personal experiences. With the ability to switch effortlessly from rocking out to playing at a beautiful whisper, the Adam Kromelow Trio creates music that is powerful, haunting, and unpredictable.
This band has performed at some of New York's most prominent jazz venues such as the The Jazz Gallery and Iridium. Also, members have performed at New York’s Blue Note Jazz Club, the Monterey Jazz Festival, the San Jose Jazz Festival, Chicago’s Symphony Center and Jazz Showcase, and the 2008 GRAMMY awards. The Adam Kromelow Trio is currently working on their first CD, Upgrade, which will be produced by GRAMMY-award-winning jazz pianist Arturo O’Farrill, and is scheduled for release in the Summer of 2011.
