El Taller is pleased to welcome back Cascada de Flores, who first performed at El Taller Latino Americano at the "Crossover Tango" concert in November 2010. 

In the spirit of the gorgeous melodic-poetic tendencies of Cuban, Mexican and Puerto Rican troubadours of yesteryear, Cascada de Flores captures song, poetry and rhythm from diverse inspirations. With a vocal duet that entices and envelops you and a guitarist that milks his instrument for every possible emotion, this trio serves up a rich plate of bolero to bambuco with a touch of danza and danzón, a pinch of zapateado and seasoned with a crazy mix of traditional string and percussion instruments. 

With special guests: Alexander Arcelay on violin, Gene Baker on trumpet, Cynthia Holberg and her luscious voice...
