Raza y Resistencia / Race and Resistance

Admission: $20, Students, El Barrio residents, and El Taller members: $12

A three night festival of avant-garde music and poetry, representing our diverse America -the original peoples, those brought here unwillingly, and those who have immigrated, by and for people of all ages and background.  Arts for Art and El Taller Latino Americano partner to present the second annual Raza y Resistencia festival, an UnColumbus Celebration.

Opening night features Mexican-American drummer Francisco Mora Catlett, presenting his AfroHorn project with fellow Sun Ra alum Ahmed Abdullah, tubist Bob Stewart, and Cuban percussionist Roman Diaz.
