El Taller Latino Americano, Little Masters, and ¡Acopladitos! are hosting a fun-filled Valentine's Party featuring fun art activities and live music en español!
In the first part of this family workshop, we'll be creating heart-shaped maracas decorated with words and pictures about love, family, and friendship. Following the art workshop, we'll be using our creations during a live performance by ¡Acopladitos!, a Brooklyn-based duo that will perform their own original bilingual music for children.
The kid-friendly band ¡Acopladitos! is dedicated to teaching Spanish language through music and movement to young learners. Nora and Angélica will guide your children through a fun and interactive musical experience enhanced by delightful illustrations and props designed by local visual artist Tatiana Arocha. Children will listen, play, move, and sing-a-long to live music from this magical new music project created by members of the Brooklyn indie band Balún. Come and sing en español with Acopladitos on their debut at El Taller. For more information about ¡Acopladitos!, please visit their website at http://acopladitos.com/
Please call or email El Taller's Program Manager, Meagan Van Ahn, at "meagan at tallerlatino.org" and indicate the name and age of each child.
